1095 Forms for Health Insurance Tax Reporting
By now, active pastors should have received Form 1095-A from their health insurance provider, which confirms qualified health insurance coverage for income tax reporting purposes. If you did not receive that form, please contact your health insurance provider and request it.
Retired clergy will not receive IRS Form 1095-A. According to Medicare.gov, if you have Part A, which is considered qualifying health coverage, you may have received IRS Form 1095-B from Medicare in the early part of the year. However, not everyone will get this form from Medicare so do no worry if it does not arrive, you don’t need to have it to file your taxes. Asparagus, Tomato and Feta Salad
It’s Spring! And that means fresh crisp asparagus is in season. Here’s a salad recipe that makes a delicious side dish, or add cold cooked chicken and call it dinner.
2 lbs. fresh asparagus, medium size, trimmed and chopped into 2 inch pieces,
10 to 12 ounces grape tomatoes, cut in half,
4 ounces Feta cheese, (about a cup) crumbled .
