The Long and Winding Road
Do you know the John Lennon and Paul McCartney song, "The Long and Winding Road"? Paul sings these words:
"The long and winding road that leads to Your door
Will never disappear
I've seen that road before; It always leads me here,
Leads me to Your door"
I confess I capitalized the word "Your" in the lyrics for the added theological implications. We here at the Board of Pensions like to think of ourselves as your companions on the road, or journey of Life. We are with you as you begin your ministry, as you care for your family, as you enter retirement and even as you arrive at the final Door to eternity. Indeed, we care for your family even after you are gone.
The new green banner at the top of this page, and on our web site, features a verdant landscape and a long, winding road. No matter where you are on your journey, we hope we can provide some sign posts along the way, pointing you toward resources for health care, retirement, pension benefits, and financial security.

Health and Healing Quote for July:
"I have come to understand that some of the deepest and most effective healing is not found at a doctor's office or a hospital, but rather from inside ourselves. Our bodies are designed for self-healing, and we are capable of both boosting and blocking that ability." ~Dr. Daju Suzanne Friedman, Heal Yourself with Qigong
